Our institution had Superusers (SUers) from all affected departments who identified their department needs, assured the system worked well for the department and acted as on going resources for training and testing.

The project team was responsible to oversee the transforming of content design requirements into a functioning system.

It's important to set realistic expectations. Go-live is only the beginning of the implementation. Refinement and maintenance last forever.
